This week Love Laid Bare celebrates its first birthday! What a year it has been!!

If you have been on the journey with us from inception, you will know that our first four podcasts were about serious youth violence and knife crime.  Unfortunately since this time last year, not much has changed. We are still experiencing similar levels of violence amongst our young people so there is much work still to be done.

With that being said it is my absolute pleasure to have a gentleman who has dedicated the last decade (at least) to helping young people and offenders turn their life around.

A man who was sentenced for 10 years on drugs charges and has subsequently turned his life around and continues to give back to his community.

Chris Syrus -Receiving his BEM for services to further education

In this weeks episode Chris Syrus shares his testimony and journey from being a 15 year old student, to being sentenced at 24, to then becoming a multi-business owner, father and motivational speaker.

If you have been affected by anything we have spoken about today, please visit our Resources Page for support services.
